Left Roanoke & drove to Appomattox and viewed the historical site of the surrender of generally to General Grant. We also looked at the old courthouse, jail and a tiny house that was built and I think 1820. We were going to go to Richmond but decided that we didn't have time when they called and said the bike was ready to go. We drove back to Hickory, North Carolina and spent the night.
