We didn't get out of Cherokee until almost noon by the time we drank coffee on the deck, found a place to eat that wasn't a buffet & shopped a little, first shopping I've done!! We came on Hwy 26 from Ashville to Charleston. We got a motel about 16 miles out as it was raining & almost dark. Interesting trees here, some have leaves that look like holly, some like a fern & some like some kind of pine. There are trees everywhere & it is all beautiful. I've forgot to mention that there is a Dollar Store on every corner, especially in MO, KY & TN., don't know about here, too many trees.
