Thursday, June 19

We made it to Troy and Emily's yesterday a bout five. It is the first time we have been to their home since they moved to Bellevue. It is a nice home and we had seen it before they had moved in.  We are happy for them.   We rode in wind and rain yesterday, I thought it might snow on us that he didn't, we were glad for that but it was cold. Our plans today are to go on home, it will be good to get home.

Wednesday

We spent the night in Wendover, we woke up this morning feeling much more rested, I think the hot tab and a good bed contributed to that oh yes, and it was quiet. You know they put RV parks by the freeway, so you can find it easily, the railroad track, an airport, or all three. Yesterday we rode in wind and cold about all day, I asked Don  what the temperature was and he said that I didn't want to know!!  It was 37, and I could see snow on the mountains by Wells, Nevada, no wonder I was cold. We plan to go to Snowville this morning on some back highway, and then on to Albion  to look at the old teachers college. We have heard they have a bed and breakfast there, but we are headed to Troy and Emily's so that will be our bed and breakfast for tonight :). God is good and we are having a wonderful time, in spite of the fact that the weather is on the chilly side of comfortable.

A few days away 6-15-619th

We left home Sunday after Fathers Day dinner & went to Winnemucca. We stayed in the tent trailer. Yesterday we went to Reno to see Hailey. We had a really good visit with her.  On our way back to Winnemucca we stopped & went into Denny's when we got gas, there were some people having a banana split & , you know Don!!  He said that looked sinful & he was teasing them, they didn't say a word, we went on to our table & we could hear them talking in a different language!! So the joke was on Don ha.  We ate at a Basque restaurant, not nearly as good as the one in Elko that we ate at the last time we went to see Hailey but cost a lot more!!  I thought I might freeze to death last night but didn't.  Don had it figured out how he could get me in the trailer & get me home if I did. I'm thankful he didn't need to use that plan!!                                                 Now we are headed towards ID, not sure where we will spend the night.
