Had a good breakfast at Days Inn then went to see Bob & Pat Crabtree for coffee, we stayed so long that we ended up eating lunch with them. When I was a child on the ranch, Crabttees were our closest neighbors, 4 1/2 miles horseback, I've known them a long time. After my moma died, 4 or 5 years later, daddy married Bob's mother, known to us as Grandma Gladys. We had a good visit. We left there at 2:30 & took Hwy 69 to Bowie where we hit Hwy 81 & crossed out of TX into OK. We got to Duncan & turned easy to Ratliff City on Hwy 7. We got to Lee & Esther's about 5:30. Very typical Texas countryside with temp. In mid 90's. Had a good supper, wonderful day.
