July 1st

We are going to take Susie's car today & go to Kenai, Homer, & I'm not sure where else. We are prepared to sleep in the car as Susie has us fixed up, like she does it. :) MY what a good friend she is, she says we are like family & i like that. :) We will check in when we have a chance & that could be every day as it seems like there are a lot of places that have Wifi. there are some clouds but the sun is out & we do see blue sky. God IS good.

    Gee--what a good place to have a friend when you decide to take a trip to Alaska!! You can go in her car and make it seem like home. The car will let you go to places that you might not go on the bike and not get rained on.

    Went to the eye dr. this morning and got my new glasses, mainly to use with the computer--raised the bifocals up a little bit. Expect Mark to be here tomorrow--glad/sad. He'll be here just a short time, coming up from Houston to get this suitcase full of items he has ordered and had mailed to me since they won't ship to Singapore.

    doyle and I fished out of King of Kings lodge in anchor point. just north of homer 10 miles or so. really nice people. Mahlon
