We are back at Susie's after a wonderful trip to the spit, today we went to Whittier, a new experience for us going through a railroad tunnel that you share with a train. We waited for 40 minutes till the train came through then we went through a 2.6 mile tunnel & at the end of the tunnel was Whittier, a small fishing town that comes alive in the summer with fishermen. I believe there are 184 people that live there the year around & I have NO idea how many people are there are in the summer but it was alive with people.
From there we went to Anchorage & visited the Star family, Dorothy Russel, daughter, Julie, her husband Bob, Julie's daughter Robyn & her husband Mike, 3 of their 3 children were there, we had pizza, salad & fruit with them, what a fun 3 days we have had. Picture will follow tomorrow.

-
I highlighted several Quaker women last year and for
#InternationalWomensDay I decided to put them all in one spot to make it
easier for you to find!
