Monday

We left Johnson and Had lunch in Meade with Uncle PD, Konda and Fred.   Making more family memories.  Uncle PD is 96 years young.

Sunday

We have had a wonderful three days with our family in eastern Colorado.  We took in the Kiowa County fair, Don got to do some work in the field bailing. We have had a lot of fun with a lot of family.  Now, we are headed to Johnson, Kansas to see good family friends Darrell and Marylin.

Friday

Kay and I have had a really good time today while the guys went to Kansas to the sale.  We went to La Junta and had lunch with Micah, who is Kay's Grandsons wife.  We came back by the John Martin Reservoir Which is at Hasty, CO.

Kiowa County fair

We are in eastern Colorado, having a really good time visiting family.  Don and his brother Gilbert, went to the field last night to bail feed.  Don is having a great time doing ranch and farm stuff.  Today they are going to Kansas to the sale, where brother, Ronnie is selling cattle.  My, we have a wonderful family. God is good.

Leaving Pueblo

We have had a wonderful time with my cousins, Harry Vaughn and Carol.  Now, we are going to Chivington to have fun with brothers and sisters and family.  God is good.

Evanston Wyoming

We left today for Colorado Kansas and Missouri. We got as far as Evenston, WY and are calling it a day.

Preparing to Leave

My how time flies! We can't believe it has been one year since our last post.

It has been an eventful year and we are excited that after Don's two major surgeries this summer we are able to take a trip.

We are doing a similar loop as to what we did last year; Taking the car and not the bike.  Don prefers the car on these kind of trips where we are doing the  majority of freeway driving.  So, I'm sad to report there will not be a bike trip this year.  I am excited that we are able to travel so soon after Don's surgeries, though!

Tomorrow, we will head out after church and get as far as we can into Wyoming.
